Guy Kawasaki To Motorola’s Rescue

A few years ago Android OS was launched and HTC was the first company to officially launch an android phone.
Later on many different cell phone makers such as LG, Motorola and Samsung began working on their own Android-Powered smartphones. Samsung was the one to successfully launch a high-end Android Powered smartphone and they gained popularity because of that. Since Samsung’s product was quite attractive, People turned towards buying Samsung’s smartphone because they thought it had the same functions as iPhone and was also cheaper than it.
The other companies couldn’t keep with Samsung and lost their chance to dominate the market at that time. One of those companies was Motorola because it had to struggle a lot to make its place among the public. Google bought Motorola in 2011 and they wanted it to keep up with Samsung and Apple but somehow their attempts were unsuccessful.
Now recently Guy Kawasaki, The person who was behind the marketing of great Apple products have been brought to Motorola to help them market a new product which they are making. Maybe Motorola is also using the same strategy as Samsung and is planning to launch a high-end flagship smartphone and distribute that one smartphone via different carriers. Maybe they are betting on this new smartphone, the future of their company.
Today Samsung and Apple are dominating the market while Nokia is being left behind. Motorola would now have to do something big if they want to make their place among the top smartphone makers.
