RIM CEO Talks About Licensing Blackberry 10 For Other Devices

These days the battle for being the top Operating System is going on between iOS, Android OS and Windows Phone OS. Now BlackBerry has also decided to step in the battlefield with their newly developed OS named BlackBerry 10. They will be launching this OS in the end of January 2013.

Research In Motion (RIM) CEO was talking to a German Newspaper named Die Welt and he told them that he would only License BlackBerry 10 to those device which have great potential. He also said that the companies willing to license BlackBerry 10 will have to prove themselves.

He also told the newspaper that he is looking forward to provide smartphone users with alternatives to Android OS and iOS because the old concept which states that “BlackBerry Is For Businessmen” is now untrue and BlackBerry 10 is for everyone.
