Samsung Showed A Prototype Of Its Flexible Display Technology

Samsung's Felxible Display Prototype
We heard rumors that Samsung is working on a flexible display technology and is expected to reveal it at CES 13. Well Samsung did unveil it at its second CES 13 event.

Samsung unveiled the technology and also showed a prototype phone using the technology. That prototype phone had the screen bended towards its rear on its right side. On this bended screen you can read notifications or text messages even if the screen is covered using a case.

Yet this was just a prototype which means that it lacked important features found in a phone such as OS, Camera and connectivity but it sure did have a low powered processor and touch display to check out how the display would function.

The display screen used in that prototype was of 5 inches with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and had a resolution of 720p.

Previously we heard rumors that Samsung might use flexible display technology in its Samsung Galaxy S4. Lets wait and see which products Samsung produces with this technology.
